Democratic Rep. John Lewis called for President Trump's impeachment on the House floor on Tuesday. He, alongside numerous other Democrats, actually think they can get away with pushing impeachment without an actual cause.
Lewis said, “We tried every other path and used any other tool. We will any find the truth unless we use the power given to the House of Representatives and the House alone, to begin an official investigation as dictated by the Constitution.”
“The future of our democracy is at stake,” he added, “There comes a time when you have to be moved by the spirit of history to take action to protect the integrity of our nation. I believe, I truly believe, the time to begin impeachment proceedings against this president has come. To delay or to do otherwise would betray the foundation of our democracy.”
Unfortunately for the snowflakes, someone cannot be impeached simply because they do not like them. There has to be actual probably cause, which there isn't.
President Trump commented on the calls for impeachment, stating that their push for it is good for his reelection but bad for the country.
Media reports previewed that Pelosi will announce a formal impeachment inquiry against Trump after the president spoke to Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky about investigating former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden for corruption.
“If she does that, they all say that’s a positive for me in the election,” Trump said, “You could also say who needs it, it’s bad for the county.”
“The good news is the voters get it,” he continued, “This is why they say it’s good for the election, but you know what? It’s bad for the country, what she’s doing is very bad.”
The president said that Democrats continued efforts to force him out of office had seriously impaired the country’s ability to address serious issues.

“Then they all wonder why they don’t get gun legislation done, then they wonder why they don’t get drug prices lowered because all they do is talk nonsense,” Trump said, “No more infrastructure bills, no more anything. All they do, that’s all they do. … it’s the craziest thing anybody’s seen.”
“The country’s doing the best it’s ever done, and I just heard that she’d like to impeach,” he added.
