Creator and star of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Rob McElhenney is a die-hard Eagles fan. However, their Wild Card playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coincides with the Emmy Awards, apparently.
We've all been there. Forced to attend an "important" even when it coincides with an important game for your team. Many of us can relate with McElhenney being in this situation.
So, in that vein, shame on McElhenney for attending the awards on the day of a Philadelphia Eagles playoff game.
Rob McElhenney is married to Kaitlin Olson, who is also in "Always Sunny." She shared a photo of Rob watching the Eagles game on his phone at the awards. It was the pregame show, but he will probably watch the whole game.
People hope the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where the Emmy Awards are, has good Wi-Fi. This is so McElhenney can watch the game. If the Wi-Fi is bad, at least he got an Emmy trophy, which is a nice thing to have.
It was a tough night for McElhenney's Eagles as they were dominated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their first round playoff matchup, ending their season.
