On Thursday, a bear entered a Connecticut residence and indulged in a lasagna from the fridge.

Captured by the homeowner's Ring security camera, footage depicts the bear fetching the popular Italian dish from the freezer and swiftly exiting the way it came in — via the kitchen window, as reported by CT Insider.

The lasagna incident occurred in Barkhamsted, Connecticut, as highlighted by the outlet.

While at work, Helena Houlis, the homeowner, got an unexpected alert from her Ring app, especially since no one was anticipated to be at her residence then, according to CT Insider.

The bear lingered in the residence for approximately thirty minutes, leaving a "mess" but causing no significant harm, WFSB, a CNN affiliate, reported.

After acquiring the dish, the unexpected guest decided to take it away, the publication mentioned.

The bear was tagged, indicating that the state’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is monitoring this inquisitive animal, WFSB highlighted.

Up to this point in 2023, Connecticut has recorded 34 instances of bears entering homes, as mentioned by the outlet.
