'Home Improvement' Star Arrested Again for Domestic Violence

Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for domestic violence on Thursday, according to a report from Fox News.

As of Friday, the former child star remained in jail, per Horry County (South Carolina) Sheriff's Office records.

Bryan faces charges of domestic violence in the second degree.

This isn't Bryan's first run-in with domestic violence charges. In July 2023, police in Eugene, Oregon, responded to a physical domestic dispute involving Bryan and an unnamed woman.

He was charged with two counts of assault in the fourth degree. One charge was dropped later as part of a plea deal. Bryan served seven days in jail instead of a possible 19-20 months in prison.

Legal troubles have followed Bryan beyond domestic disputes.

In October 2024, Bryan was arrested for DUI in Oklahoma. He refused a sobriety test and was taken to jail. During the ride, he apologized to the officer. "I'm just a good dude, man, I don't know why everybody— I'm sorry, I like to drink," Bryan told Trooper Kendrick Johnson.

Officers initially spotted him asleep in his Range Rover on the roadside early in the morning. Bryan later drove past the officer, leading to his arrest.

Earlier that year, Bryan was also arrested in California for DUI.

"Deputies assigned to the La Quinta Sheriff’s Station conducted a traffic stop... on a vehicle suspected of being involved in a recent traffic collision," Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez told Fox News.

In that instance, Bryan faced a felony DUI charge and a misdemeanor for "contempt of court."
