While Colin Kaepernick and other NFL players refuse to stand for the anthem, there is a real NFL hero that the media not paying attention to. Check out this report, per Conservative Tribune:
Arie Kouandjio, 24, a reserve guard for the Washington Redskins, became an American citizen Tuesday, and he stood for that occasion with pride and anticipation while holding a tiny American flag.
Kouandjio came to America with his family from Cameroon when he was 6 years old. His parents came to this country for the same reason many others do — to give their children a better education and a chance at a better life.
The football player said it was a logical choice for him to become a citizen. Now he can enjoy the new rights that come along with being a citizen of the U.S., including voting and running for office.
Congratulations to Washington @Redskins offensive lineman @AKouandjio74 on becoming a #newUScitizen today!! #HTTR pic.twitter.com/7C5h2FT9im

But everyone would rather talk about Colin Kaepernick and what a "hero" he is for disgracing our flag and our country.
