Fox Announces Who Will Interview President Trump During Super Bowl Pre-Game

Fox News’ Bret Baier is set to interview President Donald Trump during the Super Bowl Sunday pregame show on February 9.

The interview was pre-taped at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. It will air at 3 p.m. ET before the big game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET in New Orleans.

Baier pressed Trump on his administration’s policy changes since Inauguration Day. He also discussed the first 100 days of his presidency.

On Saturday, Trump announced new tariffs using the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. The tariffs add a 25% tax on imports from Canada and Mexico, and a 10% tariff on imports from China.

More of the interview will be shown on "Special Report with Bret Baier" on Monday, February 10.

This marks Baier’s first one-on-one interview with Trump since June 2023.

Baier has covered every major political event since joining Fox News in 1998. During the 2024 election, he interviewed Vice President Kamala Harris and hosted a Trump town hall.

He also co-anchored Fox News’ "Democracy 2024" coverage, including election night, Super Tuesday, and both party conventions.

Trump’s last Fox News interview was in January with Sean Hannity. It was his first since returning to the White House.

Since taking office, Trump has signed dozens of executive orders. His policies have focused on illegal immigration and withdrawing from the WHO.

Baier’s "Special Report" has been a ratings success in 2025, averaging 3.5 million viewers. It outperforms CNN and MSNBC combined in its time slot.

His "Common Ground" segment brings political leaders together to discuss key issues. Guests have included Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Sen. Kevin Cramer, and Gov. Wes Moore.
