On Sunday morning David Blackmon made a very regrettable move. The Florida man calls the police to report missing cocaine and $50 cash. Seriously.

Blackmon is from Fort Walton Beach, Florida. When he called in to report his cocaine and cash missing from his car, this was probably the easiest arrest the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has ever made. They released a statement with regards to the issue on Facebook.

Florida Man Calls the Police to Report Himself

According to the Miami HeraldBlackmon told the police that he was a drug dealer and that someone stole the quarter-ounce of cocaine and cash from his car after breaking into it.

Per the statement, the deputy who responded found the cocaine in the exact same same spot as a crack rock which was accompanied with a crack pipe. It was on the floor of the car on the driver's side.

Blackmon was arrested and charged. After that he was booked in the Okaloosa County Jail and according to jail records, he was released on $4,000 bond.

Why do so many of these stories go down in Florida? When you see a headline like this, it's almost a given that the scene of crime was "The Sunshine State."
