Far-Left MSNBC Guest Blasts 'White Folks' in Unhinged Rant

MSNBC guest and justice correspondent for The Nation, Elie Mystal, criticized White voters during a Saturday interview, accusing them of enabling a "disgusting" version of America under President Donald Trump’s second term.

"This was all written down," Mystal said, referring to Trump's agenda. "I don’t like the shock and awe version of this because if you had been paying attention, they wrote it down. They told you exactly what they were going to do, and a majority of White people voted for this."

Trump’s first week back in office has caused outrage among Democrats. One major flashpoint was his pardoning of over 1,500 prisoners charged in connection with the January 6 Capitol riot.

"This is the disgusting version of America that people want," Mystal stated bluntly. He didn’t hold back on inflation, either. "And, oh by the way, eggs are still more expensive, so you didn’t even get that. Great job, White folks," he added.

Mystal also had harsh words for media coverage of Trump. "In terms of how we cover it as a media group, we have to stop acting like any of these things have any basis in reality," he said.

He highlighted legal issues he believes are being wrongly debated. "There is no question about whether or not birthright citizenship is constitutional. It just is. There is no question about whether or not the Civil Rights Act should apply. It just does."

Mystal also slammed attempts to rationalize Trump’s actions. "Every time the media tries to sane-wash Trump, whitewash Trump, explain Trump, defend Trump, what they are doing is muddying the waters on these issues we have already decided," he said.

Democrats remain furious over executive orders related to January 6 and stepped-up deportation efforts. Trump’s second week in office appears just as packed with contentious plans.

Key policies include stricter border security measures, ramped-up deportations, boosting domestic energy production, and rolling out a new tax plan.

Immigration enforcement is a top priority. Border czar Tom Homan and acting deputy attorney general Emil Bove are traveling to Chicago to oversee heightened enforcement actions.
