Dolly Parton Gives Hilarious Response to Rumor She's Promoting CBD Gummies

Dolly Parton had a hilarious response to rumors surfacing about her promoting CBD gummies.

The country music icon debunked the rumors on her official social media accounts on Wednesday, using her signature blend of wit and humor.

A post signed by "Team Dolly" stated, "Dolly Parton is not associated with, has not endorsed, and has no affiliation with any keto or CBD gummy product. She is more inclined towards cake, cookies, and cornbread."

Snopes.com previously discredited the claims, stating they were untrue and that Parton never supported the products. These claims arose from Facebook ads featuring the country music icon to promote CBD gummies claiming to "reverse dementia."

The advertisement features a picture of Parton and a headline that reads, "Confirmed: Allegations Against Dolly Parton." However, Snopes debunked this as false, and upon clicking the accompanying link, no evidence or allegations were found.

Supporters of the "Jolene" singer showed their support in the comments section, saying things like "I'll grab the pitchforks," and "Just let me know where to join you."

Although she is not currently endorsing CBD gummies, Parton recently collaborated with Duncan Hines to launch a range of cake mixes and frosting flavors inspired by Southern cuisine, according to Today. The products sold out shortly after their debut. Parton said the partnership was a natural fit because she enjoys cooking and has a fondness for traditional Southern home-style cooking, as she grew up in the South.

The publication pointed out that the country music icon also released a cookbook in 2006 named "Dolly's Dixie Fixin's: Love, Laughter, and Lots of Good Food."
