During her guest appearance on Molly Sims' podcast, "Lipstick on the Rim," Cameron Diaz openly discussed the dynamics of marriage.

The conversation, which also included Sims' best friend Emese Gormley, covered the importance of personal space within a partnership. Gormley shared her own experience, revealing that she and her husband have decided to sleep separately due to his snoring.

"We should normalize separate bedrooms," Diaz said. "To me, I would literally — I have my house, you have yours. We have the family house in the middle. I will go and sleep in my room. You go sleep in your room. I’m fine."

"And we have the bedroom in the middle that we can convene in for, you know, our relations," she added.

Responding to concerns that her remarks could lead to unfavorable media coverage, Diaz acknowledged she has expressed similar views in the past. "I've already made such comments," she remarked humorously. "But now, with my amazing husband, I don't feel the same way. Those were my thoughts before marriage," she added playfully.

She tied the knot with Benji Madden, a member of the band Good Charlotte, in 2015. The couple expanded their family with the arrival of their daughter Raddix in 2019, born through surrogacy.

Diaz, who had taken a break from acting to concentrate on her family life a decade ago, is set to make a comeback. She will be starring in the forthcoming movie "Back in Action," alongside Jamie Foxx.
