Brutal New Ad Exposes Top Insurance Company as 'Wokest' in America

Consumers’ Research is taking aim at Chubb Insurance, launching a seven-figure ad blitz against what it calls the “wokest insurance company” in America. The campaign will run on national television and feature mobile billboards outside Chubb’s offices in Washington, D.C., New York, and New Jersey, as well as on Capitol Hill. A companion website, WokeChubb.com, is also part of the rollout.

In a letter to the Justice and Treasury Departments, the group accused Chubb of embracing practices that may run afoul of federal anti-discrimination laws and clash with the Trump-era “America First” agenda.

“Chubb Insurance is all-in on pushing radical woke ideology,” Consumers’ Research Executive Director Will Hild said. “CEO Evan Greenberg openly opposes basic protections for women’s spaces, attacks democratic laws, continues to embrace DEI, and props up groups that expose kids to dangerous transgender activism.”

Hild also accused the company of using its business to advance climate activism. “Chubb has a history of weaponizing insurance coverage to hurt America’s energy industry, cutting support for coal and natural gas to chase leftist climate fantasies,” he said.

Chubb executives have publicly defended their diversity and climate policies. Executive Vice President Joseph Wayland once said, “Diversity, equity and inclusion are the foundation of our Chubb culture.” Greenberg, in past interviews, criticized the “America First” platform and Trump’s trade policies. On the environmental front, Chubb announced in 2019 it would no longer underwrite coal plants, and more recently set strict guidelines for oil and gas underwriting.

On its website, the company frames these policies as part of its responsibility to address climate change and advance racial justice. “Chubb recognizes the reality of climate change,” Greenberg stated, adding that businesses must play their role in transitioning to a low-carbon economy. The insurer also runs programs teaching employees how to “combat racism,” and has supported groups like Equal Justice USA.

One of the group’s ads starkly lays out its case: “Dear conservatives, Chubb Insurance is for: DEI in Everything They Do, Radical Climate Ideology, Trans Activism. Chubb Insurance is against: The American First Agenda, U.S. Energy Producers, 2nd Amendment Advocates.”

Chubb, headquartered in Zurich with U.S. operations in New York, employs over 40,000 people across 54 countries and all 50 states. The company did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
