Scarlett Johansson, famously known for her role as Black Widow in the Marvel movies (don't worry, I won't give any spoilers on the new Avengers: Endgame), said during a recent interview that she believes the Democratic Party is "broken in a lot of ways" and has been “damaged from these past several years.”

I agree. Except I think they have been broken and damaged for a lot longer than that!

“Although now is certainly the time to back someone,” Johansson said while speaking with Variety, “I think I have to do a little soul searching. I think the Democratic Party is broken in a lot of ways and just damaged from these past several years. For me, if there was one candidate that I felt we could all unite behind, certainly that would be the candidate that I would back.”

“They’re out there, certainly. I mean it’s been a strange few weeks," she added, "I think it was clear and then it became sort of unclear."

When they asked her how she felt about former Vice President Joe Biden (AKA Creepy Uncle Joe) and his announcement on running for president in 2020, she replied, “I don’t know.”

I think she knows but she doesn't want to say.

Perhaps Johansson is finally opening her eyes to the truth! In the past, she endorsed both Barack Obama in 2012 and Hillary Clinton in 2016. She said she felt that Hillary was he right candidate "for right now" and added, “I think she’s got a lot of integrity. She’s got a lot of stamina. She’s a very clever politician, and that’s actually important to me. Maybe it’s because I have a daughter now.”

Johansson also supported Planned Parenthood and abortion at that time. Whether she still does today or not, I am not sure.
