Morehouse College is known for being a historically black college, as well as being one of the only three colleges in the country to maintain an all-male enrollment. However, this Atlanta school is about to lose that reputation as they welcome transgender students.

How exactly will that work? Transgender "men" are not actually males. I wonder if they think they will get to keep the title of being "all-male" because that will change the moment they accept a student who was not born with a penis.

Sorry, not sorry.

Channel 2 Action News spoke with Vice President of Enrollment Management, Terrance Dixon, about the issue. He said that he feels as though they are acting as in a leadership manner with this decision.

"We are still admitting men and we're still educating men," Dixon continued. "I think history will say Morehouse is still being the leader that it's always been around social matters."

"I think Morehouse having the courage to speak to issues of masculinity in today’s environment is important,” Morehouse College President David Thomas added. "For 152 years, the world has, in some way, seen Morehouse as the West Point of black male development."

Here's the best part of it, students will not be required to have a sex change before they are allowed to attend. As long as they claim gender dysphoria and "believe" they are male then they will be allowed to attend. Ready for the kicker? If that student changes her mind and no longer set-identifies as a male, then enrollment will then be terminated.

The policy includes admissions for students who self-identify as men.

Some students told Channel 2 Action News that they see the self-identifying policy as technically allowing women to enroll. Others say self-identifying is enough.

I wonder how long it will be before one of the "self-identifying" males turn up pregnant.
