"We Are Fixing What They Broke": JD Vance Slams Democrats

Vice President JD Vance slammed Democrats on Tuesday, accusing them of creating a manufactured "affordability crisis" they now pretend to solve. Speaking at a Cabinet meeting carried live on Newsmax, Vance confirmed the Trump administration is steadily reversing the economic destruction left behind by the previous administration.

Vance pointed out the hypocrisy of the Left's current campaign rhetoric. "It is absurd that Democrats talk about an affordability crisis that they created," Vance said, adding, "The people around this table work every single day to address it."

The Vice President highlighted the stark contrast in household finances as proof of the economic turnaround. He said, "The most important statistic is that under the Biden administration, the average American family lost over $3,000 of household income."

Vance confirmed the Trump administration is fixing the problem rapidly. He said, “Under the first 10 months of this Trump administration, they have gained over $1,000.” He added, "That says very clearly that we are fixing the problem that Joe Biden and the Democrats created."

Vance tied the entire affordability disaster directly to the previous administration’s failed policies. He stated that homes became unaffordable because of 20 million illegal aliens "taking homes that ought, by right, to go to American citizens."

He also blamed Democrats for crushing family budgets with their tax-and-spend obsession. "Why did tax bills get so unaffordable? Because Democrats were raising taxes, while congressional Republicans — under the president's leadership — are now cutting taxes.”

The Vice President linked high food prices to reckless liberal spending. "Why did food get so expensive? Because we printed trillions of dollars and threw it into green scams that made our agricultural economy suffer."

Vance praised the Cabinet for achieving "incredible progress" despite the enormous task. He admitted that reversing four years of destructive policy cannot happen overnight.

He concluded with a direct message to the opposing party. "If they want to talk about affordability, they ought to look in the mirror. We are fixing what they broke. We're proud to do it. It's the job we were elected to do."

Vance predicted the year ahead will see record growth. He said, "I think the next year in American growth and American prosperity could be the best year that we've had," for "the greatest country in the world."
