Trump Responds to Tariff Ruling With Fiery Social Media Post

President Donald Trump lashed out Thursday night in a fiery post over the legal fight surrounding his tariff policy.

A day after the U.S. Court of International Trade ruled Trump had overstepped his authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, a federal appeals court granted a stay, allowing his tariffs to remain in place for now.

Trump blasted the lower court’s decision as a politically motivated attack.

"Where do these initial three Judges come from?" Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Is it purely a hatred of ‘TRUMP’? What other reason could it be?"

He also ripped into the Federalist Society and its board chairman Leonard Leo. Trump said he relied on the group early in his presidency to choose judicial nominees.

But Trump now claims Leo gave "bad advice" and accuses him of being a “sleazebag” with his own agenda.

"I’m very disappointed in some of our picks," Trump wrote. "They must always do what’s right for the Country!"

Leo defended the group’s influence Friday, saying Trump transformed the federal judiciary and calling it a lasting legacy.

Trump ended his post by urging the Supreme Court to overturn what he called a “Country threatening decision,” claiming his tariffs are key to restoring U.S. economic strength.
