The Taliban celebrated the one-year anniversary of U.S. forces withdrawing from Afghanistan by throwing a parade in front of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and in front of Bagram Air Base.
The Biden administration was ripped for the way the withdrawal was handled. According to reports, thousands of Americans and allies were left behind and trapped behind enemy lines.
The withdrawal happened just before midnight on August 30, 2022. The day has been designated a holiday, Freedom Day, and launched fireworks over the capital that night.

NBC Poll Reveals New Least Popular Political Figure
West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin is the least popular political figure in a poll released by NBC News with only 11% of registered Democrats having positive feelings about him.
Just over one-third, 34%, have negative feelings about Manchin, giving him a 23% net-negative, the lowest in the country.
