Surveillance footage captured a harrowing scene in Houston, showing an illegal migrant from Honduras dragging a screaming Chinese woman back to a trailer where authorities say she was held captive as a sex slave.
The video shows 24-year-old Jose Armando Carcamo-Perdomo gripping the hysterical woman in a bear hug as she kicks and screams, trying to escape. A dog barks wildly in the background as a neighbor watches in shock.
That neighbor’s 911 call led police to a trailer home in Harris County, where they discovered the woman locked in a closet with no food or water. Authorities say she had been held there for over five days.
The victim told investigators she was lured from New York to Texas with promises of a high-paying masseuse job. Instead, she was bound, her Chinese passport taken, and she was repeatedly sexually assaulted.
“There was a small closet with a piece of wood screwed across the door,” said Lt. John Klafka of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. “She had her hands bound and was gagged with what looked like a sock.”
Carcamo-Perdomo, who entered the U.S. illegally in 2020, was arrested on July 14 and charged with kidnapping and assault. His immigration case had been dismissed in 2023 by a judge, according to DHS.

"This heinous criminal illegal alien was freely roaming our interior and terrorizing American communities,” DHS said in a statement. “Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is working day and night to remove millions of illegal aliens from our interior. Law and order will prevail.”
Investigators now believe this may be part of a larger human trafficking operation in Harris County. The victim is currently in a safe, undisclosed location receiving medical care and counseling.
Carcamo-Perdomo’s attorney says he is “shocked by the serious allegations” and insists his client is innocent. “We expect law enforcement and the courts to respect his rights and uphold due process.”
