Secretary Bessent: "No Place For You In Our Financial System"

President Donald Trump is taking swift action to secure the nation’s financial systems, ordering an end to federal tax benefits for illegal migrants. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed Friday that his department is working to implement the President’s directive.

This move follows Trump's strong social media post, where he announced a "permanent pause" on migration from "Third World Countries." The President specifically cited the enormous financial costs to U.S. taxpayers.

Trump previously stated that a migrant earning only "$30,000 with a green card will get roughly $50,000 in yearly benefits for their family." This massive redistribution of wealth from hardworking Americans is now coming to an end.

Secretary Bessent said the Treasury Department is blocking illegal migrants from receiving refundable portions of tax benefits. These benefits include the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Additional Child Tax Credit, the American Opportunity Tax Credit, and the Saver’s Match Credit.

Bessent sent a direct message to illegal migrants using the U.S. financial system for exploitation. He wrote on X, “If you’re here illegally, there’s no place for you in our financial system.”

He confirmed that allowing illegal aliens to move “illicitly obtained funds is exploitation, and it will end.” The decisive action comes just after an illegal migrant from Afghanistan allegedly shot two West Virginia National Guard members this week, leading to one death.
