A psychology expert has revealed an "extremely powerful hack" that allows you to figure out whether or not someone "secretly dislikes you."
Austin, who frequently shares psychological hacks on TikTok, revealed a surefire way to learn if someone secretly has ill feelings toward you. He refers to this method as "startling the snakes."
What he instructs you to do is give someone a superficial compliment. An example he gives is, "Hey, nice outfit."
According to Austin, what happens next will allow you to learn all you need to know about how this person feels about you.
"A friend will take this as a superficial compliment, but a secret enemy will interpret this negatively and lash out," he says.
"A strong negative response will let you see what's boiling under their surface and make you aware," he finishes the tip with.
