PepsiCo is pulling back on its beverage lineup, discontinuing a slate of sodas and other drinks while shifting focus toward core products like no-sugar colas.
The company has already ended production on nine sodas and marked 21 more drinks as “limited time left,” according to The Street. That label means remaining stock may still appear in stores, but once it’s gone, it won’t return.
CEO Ramon Luis Larguarta said the shake-up is part of PepsiCo’s strategy to streamline offerings and invest in products delivering the strongest growth. “When it comes to beverages, the focus has been in improving colas. And colas is a good success for us. We’ve been focusing on the no-sugar colas, we’ve been focusing on food and Pepsi, and we’ve been focusing on the taste challenge,” he explained, adding that the approach has lifted Pepsi’s global market share, The Mirror reported.

- Mtn Dew Caffeine Free
- Mtn Dew White Out
- Mtn Dew Kickstart: Mango Lime
- Mtn Dew Kickstart: Original Dew

The move affects not only sodas but also sparkling waters, sports drinks, and energy-based beverages. PepsiCo said it is not abandoning variety altogether but is prioritizing resources toward products with stronger demand.
For fans of the flavors on the chopping block, shelves may still hold some inventory in the weeks ahead — but once they’re gone, they’re gone.
