Former President Donald Trump can't even breathe the wrong way without the left accusing him of racism, sexism, or extremism. They really love their "-ism" descriptions.
On Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace accused Trump of "inciting violent extremism" for meeting with Ashli Babbitt's husband and mother. Babbitt is the female veteran who was shot and killed during the Capitol riot on January 6.
Trump stated that Babbitt was “murdered at the hands of someone who should never have pulled the trigger of his gun,” adding, “We know who it is.”
Anchor Nicolle Wallace declared, “On the ex-president’s statement. I have been grappling with how to cover it without amplifying it. The ex-president met with the mother, Ashley Babbitt. I want to ask you if you agree with Officer Hodges, who was one of the four Capitol police officers who testified before the 1/6 Select Committee investigating the insurrection that the insurrectionists were domestic terrorists.”
“Yeah, in fact, I agree unequivocally," added former Trump administration DHS official Miles Taylor.
Wallace said, “Can you fathom an example of a politician of another party meeting with the mother of a domestic terrorist and the other party really just sort of shrugging it off? Where are we? I mean, where are we in our politics that the ex-president, inciting violent extremism, meets with the mother of, by your definition and by Officer Hodges, the mother of a terrorist, and everyone kind of shrugs it off?”
Taylor replied, “You were there in the Bush years. Could you imagine that President Bush had met with either the widow or mother of a jihadist that had killed American troops or was trying to kill American troops? It would have been an absolute political scandal of epic proportions.”
He added, “It is the equivalent of going to meet with someone who was trying to attack our democracy ourselves. The mother of someone who was trying to attack democracy ourselves itself. Politicizing this issue.”
Taylor concluded, “What this does is it leads to radicalization of more people who could potentially pose a threat because it legitimizes that sort of civil disorder and conduct.”

Throughout former President Donald Trump's entire presidency, it was an ongoing issue with Democrats that they did not have Trump's tax returns. Unlike other recent presidents, he did not disclose that information.
However, on Friday, the U.S. Justice Department ordered the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to hand Trump's tax returns over to Congress with claims that there are "sufficient reasons" to request the material.
Rep. Greg Murphy Warns Against U.S. 'Orwellian Atmosphere' With COVID
On Friday, Rep. Greg Murphy warned that our country is developing "an Orwellian atmosphere" during an interview with Newsmax.
''I've tried to be, as a physician, very consistent through this entire process,'' said Murphy, who is also a medical doctor. ''I've said from the beginning, I don't believe mandates are the right way to do things. You know you're talking about these mask mandates; you're talking about the vaccine mandates.”

Senator Marsha Blackburn roasted Nancy Pelosi and others who are calling for renewed mask mandates, stating that they "obviously are not following the science and they do not believe in the efficacy of the vaccines."
"I think it's a bit of an overreach," she told Newsmax on Friday. "You are seeing (Speaker) Nancy Pelosi try to pull another power play. Bear in mind, since last March of 2020, what have we heard from these guys.They want lockdowns. They want you to wear gloves, to mask up, to socially distance."
