Melania Trump Announces New Documentary: Melania

A new documentary titled "MELANIA" is set to hit theaters worldwide on January 30, 2026. The film offers an intimate look at the First Lady's life during the historic transition back to the White House.

Melania Trump announced the project on Wednesday, promising a "private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy." The film focuses specifically on the "20 days of my life prior to the U.S. Presidential inauguration."

The project aims to provide direct access to this pivotal moment in American history. It seeks to bypass traditional commentary and the "talking points" of the mainstream media press corps.

A newly released trailer features scenes from Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago, and Washington. It concludes with a personal phone call where Melania tells her husband, "Hi Mr. President, congratulations!"

During the call, Donald Trump asks, "Did you watch it?" Melania admits in the footage, "I did not, yeah, I will see it on the news."

Amazon reportedly purchased the rights to the 104-minute feature for $40 million. Founder Jeff Bezos reportedly "took a personal interest" in the project to help fortify his relationship with the Trumps.

The documentary was executive produced by Fernando Sulichin and Mrs. Trump, with Brett Ratner directing. It is scheduled for release across North America, Europe, Israel, and the United Arab Emirates.
