JD Vance Exposes Radical Mob Trap And Police Stand-Down In Minneapolis

Vice President JD Vance revealed a harrowing account Sunday of the dangers facing federal immigration officers in the radicalized city of Minneapolis. During a recent visit, Vance learned that off-duty ICE and CBP officers were doxxed while trying to eat dinner at a local restaurant. Their location was leaked to a mob of agitators who surrounded the building, effectively trapping the officers inside as the situation spiraled toward violence.

Even more disturbing than the mob was the total abandonment of the officers by local law enforcement. Vance reported that Minneapolis police refused to respond to the officers’ desperate pleas for help, claiming they were following orders from local liberal authorities. The officers were left at the mercy of the mob until their own fellow federal agents arrived to rescue them from the building.

"This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement," Vance stated on X. He argued that Democrat leaders have intentionally "engineered chaos" to undermine federal law. By refusing to assist federal agents, local politicians are creating a lawless environment where radical activists feel empowered to harass and endanger public servants.

The Vice President pointed out that this culture of lawlessness leads directly to tragic outcomes, such as the recent fatal shooting of an armed agitator. On Saturday, 37-year-old Alex Pretti was shot by a Border Patrol agent after he attempted to interfere in a federal enforcement operation while carrying a handgun. Authorities noted that Pretti was resisting arrest when the fatal encounter occurred.

Vance criticized liberal politicians for grandstanding over such deaths while ignoring the fact that their own "sanctuary" policies created the crisis. He accused state and local officials of using the unrest they manufactured as a platform to attack the very agents tasked with securing the border. According to Vance, the solution is simple: local authorities must stop the "madness" and start cooperating with federal law enforcement.

The situation in Minneapolis remains tense as federal agents continue to face a hostile environment sanctioned by the city’s leadership. While the administration pushes for order and the enforcement of immigration laws, local officials seem committed to shielding agitators. Vance’s account serves as a stark warning of the consequences when political agendas are prioritized over the safety of those wearing the badge.
