Jasmine Crockett Makes Wild Accusation About Where Republican Opponents Would Throw Her

Rep. Jasmine Crockett didn’t hold back during her appearance on the Outlaws podcast Tuesday. The Texas Democrat claimed that if conservatives had the chance, “they would throw me back in chains.” She said modern Republican attacks are rooted in the same mindset that once supported slavery and segregation.

Crockett described her service in Congress as a daily act of resistance. “There was a time and a place,” she said, “and if they could, they would throw me back in chains.” She added that while the physical chains are gone, systemic ones remain.

She said this struggle makes her reflect on the nation’s history. “They justified treating us as different,” Crockett said. “The attacks may seem new, but they’re old. I recognize the hate—whether it’s the 1950s or 2025.”

Despite the opposition, Crockett said people like her are rising. “We’ve persevered past them,” she said. “And we’ll do it again.” She predicted a “losing season” ahead for what she called the “haters.”

“We are great. We are normal. We have superpowers, as far as I’m concerned,” she added.

Podcast host TS Madison shared her fear as a Black trans woman living in America today. “What is going on?” she asked. Crockett responded with solidarity.

“They hate you because they can’t be you,” Crockett said. “They see how beautiful we are—inside and out.” She thanked Madison for her courage in living openly.

Crockett argued that identity continues to drive division in politics. “They get riled up over anyone who isn’t old, White, male, and rich,” she said. But she made clear—no amount of hate will hold them back.
