Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan still knows how to charm a crowd. Recently, he joked about body-slamming Vice President Kamala Harris, and the audience loved it. Hogan's connection with fans is as strong as ever.
In a video from TMZ, Hogan, the six-time WWE champion, interacted with a lively crowd. He asked, "Do you want me to body slam Kamala Harris?!" The crowd erupted in cheers.
He didn't stop there. Hogan added, "Do you want me to drop the leg on Kamala?!" referring to one of his famous wrestling moves.
Hogan, now 71, whose real name is Terry Bollea, later clarified that he was joking. He emphasized that his comments about Harris were not serious.
These remarks were made during a promotional event for Hogan's new beer. The timing is notable, as they come amid calls to curb violent political rhetoric following an assassination attempt on Donald Trump nearly six weeks ago.
Hogan made additional comments about Harris, mentioning her Indian heritage. He asked, "Is Kamala a chameleon? Is Kamala Indian?"
Hogan later blamed his comments on alcohol. "I am going to face the consequences for that one, brother," he said. "That was not me. That was the beers talking."
