Antonio Brown jumped into the social media storm involving Brittany Mahomes on Sunday. She was seen with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce over the weekend.
Brittany, along with her husband Patrick Mahomes, joined Swift and Kelce at the U.S. Open. They watched Jannik Sinner take on Taylor Fritz in New York City.
This marked the first time Brittany and Swift were seen together since Brittany faced backlash. She had liked a post from Donald Trump, sparking criticism.
Brown added fuel to the fire with a comment on X.
“White People for Trump,” he wrote, alongside a photo of Brittany, Swift, and Kelce.
Brittany’s support for Trump began earlier in August. She liked a post outlining his “2024 GOP platform.” The internet quickly reacted, leading her to post on Instagram.
“To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues,” she wrote. "There’s no reason to hate others doing well."
She later shared another message on her social media.
"You can disagree with someone and still love them," she posted. "You can have differing views and still be kind."
Brittany continued to like comments supporting her stance.
Trump thanked her in a public post.
"I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me," Trump wrote. He praised her support of MAGA and called her a great couple with Patrick.
Fans of Taylor Swift, however, were not happy with the friendship. Some speculated about a rift when the two weren't seen together on Thursday.
In the end, though, it seemed everything had smoothed over.
