According to reports, Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot and killed at a campaign event on Thursday night.
He was giving a campaign speech in western Japan when he was shot twice. The disturbing incident was caught on camera:

The Western Journal reports:
Shinzo Abe arrived at a hospital without any vital signs after being shot during a campaign speech in western Japan.
Mr. Abe sustained two gunshot wounds to the front of his neck, damage to the heart and a major artery, causing blood loss. He went into cardiopulmonary arrest at the site of attack, and lost vital signs during transportation, said Hidetada Fukushima, the head of emergency services at Nara Medical University Hospital.
Mr. Abe was pronounced dead at 5:03 p.m. local time at the hospital where he was being treated.
Doctors attempted a blood transfusion after they were unable to stop the bleeding, Dr. Fukushima said.
On Friday morning, former President Donald Trump publicly honored his long time friend, and described the shooting as a shock.
“Absolutely devastating news that former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, a truly great man and leader, has been shot, and is in very serious condition,” Trump said. “He was a true friend of mine and, much more importantly, America. This is a tremendous blow to the wonderful people of Japan, who loved and admired him so much. We are all praying for Shinzo and his beautiful family!"
