Hmm, it sure seems like we've heard this before. Cher has expressed her intention to depart the U.S. if Donald Trump wins over President Biden in the upcoming election.
In an interview with The Guardian released this week, she remarked, "I almost got an ulcer the last time. If he gets in, who knows? This time I will leave [the United States]."

The singer known for "Believe" has consistently voiced her opposition to the former president and current Republican lead contender. This was evident as early as June 2015 when she humorously tweeted about departing the planet if Trump secured his initial term.
"IF HE WERE TO BE ELECTED, I'M MOVING TO JUPITER," tweeted Cher, echoing sentiments from other celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Snoop Dogg, and Chelsea Handler, who made similar declarations about relocating if Trump became president.
In 2016, Trump triumphed over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. However, after a loss to Biden in 2020, he's aiming to join the rare group of U.S. presidents to serve non-consecutive terms.
Notably, most celebrities, including Cher, who promised to relocate after Trump's initial win, stayed put. Cher continues to be one of Trump's prominent critics.
Trump maintains a strong lead in the polls against his Republican opponents. A recent Fox News survey shows him with approximately 60% support from Republican primary voters. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis trails in second with 13%, followed by former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley at 10%.
