Border Czar Tom Homan Blasts 'Dumbest Congresswoman Ever'

Tom Homan, former border czar, slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on Newsmax Monday. He criticized her for opposing ICE operations and helping illegal immigrants evade arrests.

Host Rob Finnerty brought up Ocasio-Cortez’s advice to undocumented immigrants. She told them how to avoid ICE. Homan responded, saying local authorities had already informed the community of their legal rights.

“She’s the dumbest Congresswoman ever who was let into Congress, and she proves that every day,” Homan said. He couldn’t believe any lawmaker, regardless of party, would help criminals evade deportation. “Been convicted of a violent crime and have been ordered removed by an immigration judge after due process at great taxpayer expense,” he added.

Homan said her actions could shield dangerous criminals. He warned that she was helping individuals who posed a public safety risk.

“You got a congresswoman that does not want ICE to do the job that Congress has mandated them to do,” he said. “She doesn’t want ICE to enforce the laws they enacted, and what the hell is Congress doing?”

Homan defended the Trump administration’s immigration policies. He said they focused on deporting criminals and national security threats. “President Trump and me have been clear from day one. We’re concentrating on public safety threats and national security threats,” Homan said.

He accused Ocasio-Cortez of prioritizing constitutional rights education over community safety. “She’s out there telling people how to evade enforcement, how to evade ICE arrests,” he said. He warned her actions could protect violent offenders. “I hope she’s not educating the next murderer of a college nursing student or not educating the next illegal alien who’s gonna burn a woman alive on a subway.”

Ocasio-Cortez held a Facebook event titled “Know Your Rights With ICE.” She gave undocumented immigrants advice on handling ICE raids. Her government website also provides tips on evading authorities, including refusing entry and remaining silent.

Homan said she could eventually face consequences for her actions. He made it clear—he wasn’t backing down.
