Many on social media were surprised by a behind-the-scenes video of Barron Trump on election night. The video shows him talking and greeting people alongside his father.
The footage, released by Art of the Surge and produced by Ashokan Studios, gives a glimpse into President-elect Donald Trump's 2024 campaign. On X, formerly known as Twitter, the platform’s profile shared the clip. Barron, dressed in a suit, is seen shaking hands and mingling. Another old video of Barron with a “Slovenian” accent as a child also resurfaced.
“Hello, how are you?” Barron, 18, asked someone off camera. “It’s very nice to see you.”
Social media users expressed shock, with many saying it was the first time they’d heard him speak. “Barron’s voice sounds just like his dad,” one user noted.
“This might be the first time we have EVER heard Barron speak,” another commented. “Historic clip!!!”
Rhonda Furin, a Republican who ran for governor in California in 2021, praised Barron’s maturity. “Barron has really come a long way in 8 years,” she wrote. “I remember the 2016 Election Night & Inauguration. Now he’s a young man. He’s well-reserved & intelligent.”
Jeremy Prime, founder of Geeks and Gamers, predicted the video’s impact. “The internet about to blow up over this one,” he said.
Barron, wearing a suit with a red and blue striped tie, is also seen talking to UFC CEO Dana White. White referred to Barron as “buddy,” and the two confirmed to President-elect Trump that they had met before.
