Amazon Driver Has PSA for Those 'Same Houses' That Have Packages Delivered Every Day

An Amazon worker suggested that customers who order from Amazon almost every day should leave a tip or snack for delivery drivers. This sparked mixed reactions among commenters.

Amazon has a rough reputation. Workers face tough conditions, both in warehouses and on delivery routes. Delivery schedules are so tight, some workers barely have time for food or water breaks.

As Amazon grows rapidly, its workers are feeling the pressure. In 2021, reports indicated that Amazon delivery partners handle between 170 to 350 packages per shift. Drivers can make up to 190 stops in just one shift.

This year, Amazon is expected to surpass Walmart as the largest retailer in the U.S., according to Yahoo Finance. The company could reach 300 million Prime members globally by year-end.

On TikTok, Amazon delivery worker Nikki (@nikkib4by) directly addressed frequent Amazon shoppers. Her video garnered over 25,000 views.

β€œWhy are you spending so much money?” Nikki asked.

In the video, Nikki reveals her van packed with packages. Despite having 138 stops that day, she says it’ll take as long as a 170-stop day due to the load she’s carrying.

β€œAll I’m saying is, if you order Amazon every day, and I’m the same delivery driver who comes and delivers your packages, it would be nice if you could leave a tip or some snacks,” Nikki says.
