Strange occurrence at Trump Tower. A young man enters Trump Tower with weapons. A student from Baruch College, Alexander Yan-Nan Wang, was arrested Monday for entering Trump Tower with a backpack of weapons. Wang is an entrepreneurial management major and is a member of the men's cross country team.

Wang was arrested at Trump Tower on December 12th. When arrested he was carrying weapons, fireworks and restraining tools. These were found as he passed through the metal detector. When questioned by police, Wang said he was only there to study and he carries these supplies at all times. Wang describes himself as a "survivalist."

He was stopped around 6:30 p.m. on Monday. He had a hunting knife, a wire that is typically used for strangling, eight feet of rope, handcuffs, an m-100 and a water pistol. After raiding his apartment, police found more fireworks. Wang was also carrying a garrote. This is used to keep fingers from being cut on the wire while someone strangles their victim.
