Mollie Hemingway is a senior editor at The Federalist. She left a panel of Fox News analysts stunned when she dropped Eric Ciaramella's name during a live broadcast on Fox News.

Fox News had taken a stance of not saying the snitch's name on TV, but Hemingway blurted it out anyway. And surprisingly Fox News did not beep it out.

Eric Ciaramella was outed as the "whistleblower" by Paul Sperry of Real Clear Investigations. There are only a few websites who have reported the actual name of him.

It seems everyone else is scared.

Hemingway made a case that the New York Times pretty much named the whistleblower back in September. Though they did reveal plenty of information they didn't actually drop the name.

“Real Clear Investigations has identified a man named Eric Ciaramella as the whistleblower so it’s already out there so we could be talking about this reporting and talking about whether that’s accurate reporting or not,” Hemingway said. “So I feel a little bit confused why we are pretending that it hasn’t already been reported.”

Fox News host Howard Kurtz jumped in immediately and claimed that he doesn't know whether or not Ciaramella is the whistleblower.

They all took turns backpedalling from what Hemingway said.

Longtime Hillary Clinton aide Phillipe Reines said, “I think that is the first time that his name has been mentioned on Fox News.”
