During the question and answer portion of the impeachment trial, Senator Rand Paul wanted to ask a question to both the White House counsel as well as Adam Schiff. However, when he submitted the question to be brought to Chief Justice John Roberts, Paul didn't get the result he expected.
As Chief Justice Roberts read over the question to himself he declined to read it aloud saying, "The presiding officer declines to read the question as submitted".
This was definitely a first!
Take a look a the video below:
Paul then tweeted out the question that Chief JusticeRoberts refused to read: “My exact question was: Are you aware that House intelligence committee staffer Shawn Misko had a close relationship with Eric Ciaramella while at the National Security Council together and are you aware and how do you respond to reports that Ciaramella and Misko may have worked together to plot impeaching the President before there were formal house impeachment proceedings.”
Paul then also tweeted, “My question is not about a ‘whistleblower’ as I have no independent information on his identity. My question is about the actions of known Obama partisans within the NSC and House staff and how they are reported to have conspired before impeachment proceedings had even begun.”
Obviously, Rand Paul wasn't too thrilled about it all. Roll Call reported Paul could be heard by reporters arguing on the floor of the Senate for his question to be asked:
“During a break in the trial, Sen. Rand Paul could be seen on the Senate floor seeking assurances that he will not be blocked from asking a question. The Kentucky Republican appeared less than pleased with Secretary of the Majority Laura Dove. “I don’t want to have to stand up to try and fight for recognition,” Paul said loud enough to be audible from the galleries above the chamber. “If I have to fight for recognition, I will.“
This is all very telling for it accidentally reveals that the person whose name was written on that note was the whistleblower. There is honestly no other reason to not read the question.

Democrats in Panic Mode, Transcript Shows Trump Was Interested in CrowdStrike not Biden
The Democrats have no idea what to do at this point. They are in full-blown panic mode because the know that they don't have any strong evidence nor do they have anything in the phone transcripts that was supposedly the bombshell behind this whole thing, along with the whistleblower complaint.
The favor that President Trump was asking for was not about Joe Biden, but CrowdStrike, the company that started the Russian collusion hoax. Continue reading…
