On Tuesday, the White House dismissed the impeachment transcripts regarding the president, stating that Trump is innocent of any wrong-doing. They stated that there is "even less evidence" of Trump colluding with Ukraine than previously thought.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said, “Both transcripts released today show there is even less evidence for this illegitimate impeachment sham than previously thought. No amount of salacious media-biased headlines, which are clearly designed to influence the narrative, change the fact that the President has done nothing wrong.”

“Ambassador Sondland squarely states that he ‘did not know, [and still does not know] when, why or by whom the aid was suspended.’  He also said he ‘presumed’ there was a link to the aid — but cannot identify any solid source for that assumption,” she added.

The Hill reports:

Grisham issued the statement shortly after it was revealed that the Trump-appointed U.S. ambassador to the European Union revised his original testimony to say that military aid to Ukraine was contingent on Kiev making a public statement sought by the Trump administration.

She also asserted that a second transcript of testimony from former U.S. special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker demonstrates “there could not have been a quid pro quo because the Ukrainians did not know about the military aid hold at the time.”

The transcripts from Volker and Sondland's closed-door testimony on Oct. 3 and Oct. 17, respectively, were released Tuesday afternoon as part of a new public phase of House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry.

The inquiry is centered on a July 25 call during which Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to look into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine. Trump also asked Kiev to assist in an investigation into 2016 election interference.

President Trump has maintained his innocence throughout this whole ordeal. He said that he did nothing wrong in the phone call with the Ukrainian president. There is no proof showing that Trump did anything wrong, either.

Democrats need to accept that Trump is their president and that he is not going to be impeached.
