While Working a WNBA Game, Police Officers Walk Out When They See This Mike Vance July 13, 2016 News Let's just say your job is to protect a group of people. Then you get there and you are ready to do your job, when you see everyone there is anti you! Well these police experienced this firsthand. Per The Daily Caller: Four police officers in Minneapolis, Minnesota walked off their jobs at a WNBA game between the Minnesota Lynx and the Dallas Wings on Saturday night. Players wore warmup uniforms that said, “Change Starts With Us. Justice & Accountability” written on the front and “Black Lives Matter” on the back, which caused the four police officers to quickly leave, according to the Star Tribune. President of the Minneapolis Police Federation Lt. Bob Kroll supported the police officers’ actions, saying: “I commend them for it.” He also indicated that other police officers may follow suit. “If [the players] are going to keep their stance, all officers may refuse to work there.” This is great. Standing up for what they believe in. How could you possibly put yourself in jeopardy to protect someone who is clearly against you?
