Surely by now you've made a trip to the grocery store and seen that many people have started to panic about the coronavirus as it continues to spread throughout the country.

Many people are stockpiling foods and items like toilet paper...especially toilet paper. In fact, I had to run out and buy some toilet paper and most of it was gone and coronavirus isn't even in my state yet.

Well, recently two women were arrested after they got into a fight over getting some toilet paper.

“Two women in Australia are facing criminal charges after being filmed in a violent altercation over toilet paper at a grocery store over amid a growing trend of people hoarding the commodity due to the ongoing global coronavirus outbreak.

Over the weekend, video of a Saturday scuffle among three women at an Australian supermarket went viral. Video posted on Twitter by Nine News Australia shows a trio of women trading blows and screaming at each other as store employees intervene.

“I just want one pack!” one woman angrily says to another, who is standing beside a shopping cart stacked to the brim with toilet paper, in the video.

“No, not one pack!” the other responds.”

“After spending hours queuing for the store to open at 7am, shoppers poured in – with the mum, 60, and daughter, 23, piling their trolley high with toilet paper.

The fight began when a third woman, 49, reportedly tried to pick up a packet of toilet paper from the mother’s trolley, sparking mayhem.

After the brawl was broken up by a member of staff, the camera panned to show the mother’s trolley filled to the brim with toilet paper.”

The toilet paper problem is not unique to Australia – a similar situation besieged places worse-affected by the virus, such as Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong.

Last month, armed robbers stole pallets in Hong Kong following panic-buying induced shortages there. There are reports of toilet paper buy-ups in the US as well.

In Australia, the frenzy began on the weekend after new cases of Covid-19 emerged and the first local death was reported – a 78-year-old man in Perth, Western Australia. On Wednesday a 95-year-old who died this week in Sydney also tested positive for the virus.”

Most people are completely overreacting to the virus, but it is definitely a good idea to be prepared.

This is the day that preppers dream of.
