WATCH: Paul Ryan Goes on 'Face The Nation' and Attacks Trump Supporters Just Before Midterms Mike Vance October 29, 2018 News Why in the world would he do something like this? Paul Ryan goes on "Face the Nation" and attacked Trump supporters just before the midterm elections. What on earth are you thinking, Paul? While speaking with far left John Dickerson, Ryan said under Trump the GOP is like "Alinsky" and they are embracing "tribal identity politics." Why in the world would he say this with the midterms coming right up? Per Breitbart: Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-WI) said he believed conservatives have embraced “tribal identity politics,” in the style of leftist community organizer Saul Alinsky. Host John Dickerson asked, “You’ve seen some President Trump’s rallies, do those rallies accentuate the things that unite us or are they — do they do something very successful in politics which is sow division in the country? Do you see that happening at his rallies? Ryan said, “Sometimes, yeah. Not always but sometimes. I worry about tribal identity politics becoming the new norm of how politics is waged. As conservatives, we always thought this was sort of a left-wing Alinsky thing. Unfortunately the right practices identity politics as well. It’s the day and age, technology and everything else, identity politics which is now being pack practiced on both sides of the aisle is unfortunately working. I think we as leaders we got to figure out how do we make inclusive aspirational politics strategically valuable again.” Paul Ryan goes off on Trump supporters People wonder why there are absurd claims about Paul Ryan and whose wide he is on. This is one of the leaders of the Republican Party and he goes on and says this right before the midterm election. Clearly, he is trying to sabotage the Republican Party. This is a man who has put his own best interests above the party and in his position this isn't something he can do.
