Rapper and Trump supporter Kanye West appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday night. He continues to stand behind President Trump and make positive comments about him.
Per Daily Caller:
“Just as a musician, African-American guy out in Hollywood, all these different things, you know, everyone around me tried to pick my candidate for me,” West said.
“And then told me every time I said I liked Trump that I couldn’t say it out loud or my career would be over. I’d get kicked out of the black community because blacks — we’re supposed to have a monolithic thought, we can only, like, we can only be Democrats and all.”
West claimed it took time for him to find the “confidence to stand up” and wear a MAGA hat, but once he did, it served as a symbol of his ability to overcome his fears.
The left is irate that Kanye West has left the Democrat plantation. He is simply being true to himself and not just going with the candidate that everyone has chosen for him.
He is not allowing liberals to bully him into agreeing with their political viewpoints. Instead he is standing his ground and standing firm in his own beliefs.
