On Friday Jim Acosta of CNN was screaming questions at President Trump. This time, someone other than Trump and press secretary Sarah Sanders told him to shut up.
When one of Trump's speeches was ending, Acosta questioned Trump about whether or not he would stop calling the media the "enemy of the American people."
“Mr. President, will you stop calling the press the enemy of the people?” he questioned.
This question came the day after the shooting at a Maryland newspaper. Some have suggested that the shooting was caused by the media criticism by Trump.
During the speech Trump stated that journalists should not have to fear violence while doing their job.
Some in the room thought Acosta's questioning was brave, but there was one man who spoke for many of when he shushed Acosta.

When Acosta tried to shout his question over the applause this man turned around and gave him the international symbol for "shush."
There were many different reactions to the shushing on Twitter:
Bless Jim Acosta’s house and a pox on the dollar store version of Stephen Miller in front of him who keeps trying to shush him pic.twitter.com/cx7Q0yfD5q

And who was that guy trying to shush you? That was hilarious

And a fine, upstanding, right-thinking person standing in front of you tried to shush you. You're a good man, Sir.

The defiant Acosta refuses to be shushed!

This is why people don't trust the media. Jim Acosta says he 'asked' the President a question and he wouldn't answer.
The reality: he was shouting in a loud room from fifty feet away. pic.twitter.com/JoBVvxESy7

It's been a tough week for Acosta. Earlier this week he attended a rally in South Carolina where a woman confronted him and someone held up a "CNN SUCKS" sign.
