It sure looks like Facebook is trying to steal the 2018 election. All weekend Congress members grilled Mark Zuckerberg about the company's data privacy issues as well as their known bias against conservatives.
Zuck made it known that election interference is one of the company's top priorities this year. He also mentioned he has more confident that Facebook will "get it right this year."
What does he mean by get it right? He seems to be implying that the public got it wrong with their election of Trump. It's pretty clear that Zuckerberg is doing whatever he can to make sure the politically incorrect choice does not happen again during the 2018 election.
The Democrats are very hung up on the fact that Russians spent $100,000 on Facebook ads during the 2016 election. When you look at the money the Dems spent on two-time loser Hillary Clinton, this is a drop in the bucket. Yet they are using this figure to support the argument that the Trump election was not fair. Then there's the fact that the Russian ads were used to promote causes on both political parties. The only purpose of this ad spend was to create more of a divide in this country.
Since this does not fit their narrative, the left will not mention this, though.

“Facebook is going to ‘get this right this year?’ Zuckerberg means the public was wrong, Trump supporters should be punished, and he will do everything in his power to prevent politically incorrect election choices from ever happening again”~@STEPHMHAMILL https://t.co/Gva6dfi0NN
