Most places across the U.S. have issued some sort of lockdown or stay at home order to some degree or another.

Alton, Illinois is one of them and they're very serious about it, so serious in fact, that they are issuing tickets to people who are found to be violating the orders.

But what was surprising was that the Alton's Democratic Mayor Brant Walker soon learned that after he gave the order, his wife was found at a local bar!

According to the Washington Examiner,

"Police on Sunday enforced the order issued by Gov. J.B. Pritzker on March 21, moving in at 1 a.m. to stop a party in Hiram's Tavern, including Walker's wife, Shannon, being held in defiance of the mandated closure of nonessential businesses and ban on social gatherings.

Shannon Walker, along with every other person in the bar, was given a criminal citation for reckless conduct, a Class A misdemeanor in Illinois. Hiram Lewis, the owner of the tavern, was taken into custody after police found an outstanding warrant for his arrest in connection to a domestic violence case."

Obviously, Walker was embarrassed by his wife's actions and said that she showed a lack of judgment. Walker said,

"My wife is an adult capable of making her own decisions, and in this instance, she exhibited a stunning lack of judgment. She now faces the same consequences for her ill-advised decision as the other individuals who chose to violate the stay-at-home order during this incident."

"I am embarrassed by this incident and apologize to the citizens of Alton for any embarrassment this incident may cause our city. We must all do our part to flatten the curve of COVID-19 so that we can protect our health and ultimately resume our normal activities."

But here's the kicker...this happened at 1:00 am!

What was his wife doing out at that time of night? Where was he and what was he doing when this happened? There is something not right with this relationship.

Politico Poll: 'Majority' of Voters Think Obama Would Handle Coronavirus Better

According to a Politico-Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday, a "majority" of registered voters believe that former President Obama could handle the coronavirus pandemic better than President Trump.

I am going to take a wild guess and say that a majority of the people who voted in the poll either live off the government or live in their parent's basement. There is no way in hell that Obummer could do a better job than Trump. No way.
