Colin Kaepernick has been pretending to want to get back into the NFL for a while now. His actions show that he obviously has no interest in getting back in the league.
Stephen A. Smith said it best when he said Colin Kaepernick wants to be a martyr. He has no interest in playing football. He wants to be the guy who “sacrificed it all” to stand up for what he believes in.
Stephen A Smith thinks ultimately Colin Kaepernick doesn't want to play football.

In Kaepernick’s latest anti-American stunt he celebrates “Un-Thanksgiving Day.” He rips America for “stealing over a billion acres” from indigenous people.” There is an annual ceremony held for this in San Francisco.
“It’s been 50 years since the occupation,” Kaepernick said. “And that struggle has continued for that 50 years.”
“Spent the morning at the Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremony on the 50 year anniversary of the Occupation of Alcatraz. The US government has stolen over 1.5 billion acres of land from Indigenous people. Thank you to my Indigenous family, I’m with you today and always.”

If Kaepernick is so set on being a martyr, why does he even pretend to want to be back in the NFL? That’s easy to answer. It’s because the NFL is what keeps him relevant. If he lets go of the NFL, people stop listening to him.
