Colin Kaepernick has been pretending to want to get back into the NFL for a while now. His actions show that he obviously has no interest in getting back in the league.
Stephen A. Smith said it best when he said Colin Kaepernick wants to be a martyr. He has no interest in playing football. He wants to be the guy who "sacrificed it all" to stand up for what he believes in.

In Kaepernick's latest anti-American stunt he celebrates "Un-Thanksgiving Day." He rips America for "stealing over a billion acres" from indigenous people." There is an annual ceremony held for this in San Francisco.

If Kaepernick is so set on being a martyr, why does he even pretend to want to be back in the NFL? That's easy to answer. It's because the NFL is what keeps him relevant. If he lets go of the NFL, people stop listening to him.

Just last week the Cowboys vs Patriots on Sunday in the 4:25 EST time slot produced the best TV ratings in years for an NFL game. The NFL is thriving again since they put all of the Kaepernick and kneeling noise behind them.
