Warren and de Blasio Push Socialism: ‘I’d Abolish Private Health Insurance’

Socialism SUCKS! I would write that a million more times if I thought it would make a difference to those who actually believe it is a good system. Instead, I have one words for them: Venezuela.

Modern Democrats are leaning more and more towards socialism and it’s mind-blowing to me! You know what makes our country so great? The fact that we are nothing like other countries!

NBC’s Lester Holt asked during the first Democratic presidential debate of 2019 on Wednesday, “Many people watching at home have health insurance coverage through their employer, who here would abolish their private health insurance in favor of a government-run plan? Just a show of hands.”

At that time, both Senator Elizabeth Warren and Mayor de Blasio raised their hands, showing that they are in favor of abolishing private health care. They want to replace it with a universal healthcare from cradle to grave. Yikes.

Many other Democrats also agree with doing away with private health care, which basically shoots capitalism the middle finger and takes away our choice of providers. If they had their way, we would have to take whatever care the government wants to give us. Now that’s a scary thought.

Breitbart reports:

The Green New Deal, for example, would ban private health insurance, including employer-provided insurance plans. The Green New Deal was endorsed by Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ), and Representative Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke (D-TX), two presidential candidates who shared the debate stage with Warren and de Blasio on Wednesday night.

Moreover, over 100 Democrats have endorsed “Medicare for All,” a proposal that would also effectively do away with private health insurance.

Another Democratic Presidential candidate, Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) — although not present on Wednesday night — has also admitted to wanting to eliminate private health insurance to replace it with a single-payer, government-run “Medicare for All” program.

This is something that we cannot stand for. While Democrats like Warren, AOC, and Bernie are out here promising free stuff, the rest of working America understands that NOTHING is actually free. It simply means that our over-taxed paychecks will be even more taxed.

So if you want less say, and less buck for your bang, then sure. Vote for Democrats. I guarantee you will regret it in the long run.
