The Obama White House lit up like a rainbow during Pride Month. The Trump White House passes on this tradition and leftists are flipping out over it.
Teen Vogue called out the Trump White House for remaining silent with regards to the month long celebration of "Pride." Many celebrities and major companies have "already paid homage to the month of LGBTQ+ visibility and celebration."
"For the second year in a row, President Donald Trump’s White House left Pride Month out of its list of proclamations declaring June National Ocean Month, National Caribbean-American Heritage Month, National Homeownership Month, and National African-American Music Appreciation Month," Teen Vogue lamented.
Teen Vogue portrays the White House as if they have completely ignored Pride Month altogether, but that's not entirely true. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made a brief statement on June 1 that touched on the issue.
Additionally, Pompeo referred to the violence and persecution that LGBT people all over the world face, especially in Islamic countries.
As we begin #PrideMonth, we stand with the #LGBTI community in U.S. and around the world in affirming the dignity and equality of all people. Human rights are universal.

It should come as no surprise this was not good enough from the left. Many pointed out how trans people are being excluded from the military.
The Human Rights Campaign also called out the Trump administration. Even questioned why Trump and Pence are trying are so insistent on "erasing" them.
In May, Trump and Pence recognized National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.
Today, they recognized National Ocean Month and Great Outdoors Month.
And yet, they still refuse to recognize #Pride month for #LGBTQ Americans. Why are Trump and Pence so insistent on erasing us?
