CNN will do whatever it takes to bash Trump. Now they've turned to the hip hop community. Shawn Carter, AKA Jay-Z, appeared on "The Van Jones Show" Saturday night, the night before the Grammy's. Of course Jones asked Jay-Z about when Trump called some African nations "s***holes." Jay-Z described the comment as "disappointing" and "hurtful."

"Everyone feels anger, but after the anger it's really hurtful because he's looking down on a whole population of people and he's so misinformed because these places have beautiful people," the rap star said to Jones. "This is the leader of the free world speaking like this."

President Trump did not wait long to fire back. Early Sunday morning he took to Twitter to take down the rap mogul.

Per Daily Wire:

For the record, Trump has denied using the profane phrase, but said he did use "tough" language during a White House meeting. And also FTR, the unemployment rate for blacks dropped to 6.8% in December, the lowest since 1972, the first time the rate was calculated by race, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Jay-Z, who's worth $900 million, was also asked what he thinks about the surging economy. But he said that just doesn't matter.

“Because it’s not about money at the end of the day,” he said. “Money is not — money doesn’t equate to happiness. It doesn’t. That’s missing the whole point. You treat people like human beings, then — that’s the main point.”

Trump Takes Down Jay-Z With One Tweet

The rap star doesn't get caught up in details. You know, like how Trump denied using the word "s***hole" or how the Trump presidency is having a great impact on the economics of black people. Instead he just fires shots at President Trump.
