Well, here's something new! President Donald Trump tweeted on Monday that he would "strongly consider" testifying in the impeachment probe being led by the House Democrats.
"Our Crazy, Do Nothing (where’s USMCA, infrastructure, lower drug pricing & much more?) Speaker of the House, Nervous Nancy Pelosi, who is petrified by her Radical Left knowing she will soon be gone (they & Fake News Media are her BOSS), suggested on Sunday’s DEFACE THE NATION that I testify about the phony Impeachment Witch Hunt," Trump wrote.
He added, "She also said I could do it in writing. Even though I did nothing wrong, and don’t like giving credibility to this No Due Process Hoax, I like the idea & will, in order to get Congress focused again, strongly consider it!"

This is in response to a challenge poised by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. She invited the president to testy to the committee on Sunday during an interview with Face the Nation on CBS News.
“The president could come right before the committee and talk, speak all the truth that he wants if he wants,” Pelosi taunted. She should have known that dangling an opportunity like that in from of Trump would guarantee him to bite.

This could either be a really good or a really bad thing. I only say there's a possibility of it being a bad thing because Democrats have a good way of taking everything the president says out of context. While I have faith that he would give one heck of a testimony, I do not trust the left to have a level head about it.
