We all remember the big campaign promises Trump made while running for president. Well now President Trump removes huge campaign promise from his website.

There was a press release on Donald Trump's website calling for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on." Well this press release was removed from the Trump website. Interestingly, Sean Spicer was asked about this press release on Monday.

The release was from December 2015. The President said, “until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”

Trump Removes Huge Campaign Promise From His Website

Trump Removes Huge Campaign Promise From His WebsiteDuring the press briefing on Monday, Cecilia Vega from ABC asked Sean Spicer: “If the White House is no longer calling this a Muslim ban, as the president did initially, why does the president’s website still explicitly call for ‘preventing Muslim immigration’?”

“I’m not aware of what’s on the campaign’s website,” Spicer said. “You’d have to ask them. I know how we’ve talked about this from the first day of this administration as a travel ban. We’ve been very consistent since this first day of the administration on this.”

“I’ve been very clear. I don’t think I need to clarify. The intent of the travel ban was very clear. It was something the president made very clear in the filings, why he did it, the motives. There really shouldn’t be any question to why the president’s doing this.”

Very interesting turn of events. What do you think about President Trump scrubbing this campaign promise from his website?
