Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign manager, surrendered to the FBI on Monday as the first charges from the investigation into coordination between Russian officials and the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election were unsealed.
Manafort's business partner Rick Gates was also asked to turn himself and according to the AP he did just that just before 9 a.m.

The charges the two are facing are not clear yet. According to the New York Times, Manafort walked into the FBI's office at about 8:15 a.m. and was accompanied by his lawyer.
Per Daily Wire:
Manafort had been under investigation for violations of federal tax law, money laundering and allegations that he did not disclose his foreign lobbying.
The White House had no immediate comment. The two are expected in court later Monday to face whatever charges Mueller has filed.
