It's been a few months since Roseanne Barr was fired by ABC executives for some offensive tweets. Liberal Hollywood has blacklisted her since then, despite her apologies. It was a big surprise when Suzanne Somers broke risked it all to defend Roseanne Barr.
It was reported by Fox News that Suzanne Somers of "Three's Company" fame ripped ABC and defended Barr for her quick firing. Somers pointed out how this move has backfired big-time.
“The anti-Trumps won in this case, but really I think the network lost big,” the Hollywood legend Somers said. “The ratings on the spinoff show were nowhere near what any one of the ‘Roseanne’ shows accomplished.”

There are definitely some facts backing up Somers. The ratings for "The Conners" have plummeted since the star of the show is no longer there.
"The Conners" is the spinoff from the show "Roseanne" but it has one thing missing: Roseanne. Each week the ratings go lower and lower.
Somers also praised Barr for her bravery she showed when being open about her pro-Trump views in liberal Hollywood.
“Roseanne is extremely unique, and she’s fearless,” Somers said. “[She] took a point of view that’s very unpopular right now, so she hit the eye of the storm … with the 50 percent of the country who is pro-Trump and 50 percent who is not.”

Somers knows all too well what it's like to be a Trump supporter in far left Hollywood.
She commented on how it feels to be a Trump supporter in Hollywood:
“I’m happy about him,” she said of Trump earlier this year. “I’m happy that the economy is doing so much better.”
“And now my career is over!” Somers added. Though she was half joking, there was a lot of truth in this statement, as it is hard to name an openly pro-Trump actor who is actually getting jobs in Hollywood today.

It's good to see someone stand with Barr and not just do what everyone else is doing and attack her.
There are more conservative in Hollywood and they are going to continue to pop up. Somers did her part in this by simply being honest and sharing her views.
